I’m reading The End of Mr. Y by Scarlett Thomas.
Scarlett Thomas is a lecturer of English Literature and Creative Writing at my University. In this novel, she describes Canterbury in great detail as the main character, Ariel, walks around it. I haven’t read much of this yet, but I’m enjoying it anyhow.

I started reading My Life As A Fake a few years ago, before I had much of a reading history. I found it a bit hard going and didn’t finish it, but the plot was really good, you can see the similarities with Frankenstein. I’d give it another go now if I had it hanging around.
