Yes that’s right, I went out and got some air and gave my muscles some exercise. I think my body found it a shock. The last two weeks of my holiday have been mostly a sitting down affair, so I thought I’d turn into a potato if I didn’t do something about it.

So I went out for an hour’s walk along the beach. It was lovely, and surprisingly there were quite a few people (and dogs) out.

This walking along the beach thing may be something I’d like to do regularly…well before I go back to uni that is. How lovely 🙂

What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?—

No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep and cows:

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
